Chris Lobel

Skipper and Founder

Having been teaching and coaching for many years, Chris decided in 2016 to leave the corporate world and combine his passion for sailing with teaching. Chris has been teaching yachting full time in UK, Spain and Singapore since 2017.

In 2019, Chris' dream yacht was on sale in Olbia, Italy. On 14th of Feb 2019, of all the dates, Chris became the proud skipper-owner of Saga, a Classic Swan 47, built for offshore sailing. Following his love of yachting, Chris started 'Saga47swan Sailing' doing Ocean crossing adventures & Offshore sail training trips.

Nathalie Ah-Sue

1st Mate & Logistics

Born and raised in Mauritius. Nathalie has been always been drawn to the ocean from her childhood - at the beach with the family and friends. She has worked in the logistics industry for 15+ years across various regions namely Asia, Middle East & Europe.

Nathalie is currently taking time off work and has been full time onboard SY Saga since Dec 2021, preparing for her Yachtmaster Offshore. She has logged 15,000+ nm including Bay of Biscay and Atlantic crossings.
